About Shawn Campbell
I am a retired U.S. Air Force General with more than 30 years of experience leading organizations and developing teams in high-stakes and high-demand environments across the globe.
I help my C-suite clients balance and integrate diverse talent pools and functions, leveraging my experience as a successful senior leader of a 3,000-person organization, and later as the C-suite leader of a globally distributed team of more than 1,600 personnel. I am an expert at optimizing team capabilities, identifying what needs to be done and working with clients to develop and implement effective strategies to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. I have proven these abilities in working with numerous clients in the private sector and in my time as one of the United States Space Force's first senior executives charged with standing up the newest branch of the US armed forces.
I have specific expertise and experience unlocking improved performance in full-spectrum talent management, leadership learning and development, organizational development and operating models, customer and employee experience, change management, enterprise-wide communications and collaboration, organizational culture, systems-thinking, and strategy development and implementation.
I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration and was a Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. I also believe in volunteering to help others. I serve on the governing board of advisors for a non-profit public media organization, and also as an executive committee member for a non-profit veteran's support organization.
My wife of 30 years and two adult children reside in Virginia.
